Giant Pandas – level 1

Great pandas were endangered. China tries very hard to help the pandas. They help them have babies.

Twenty-three pandas are born. They are born at a centre in China. This is very good news. People see the group of pandas. They are very beautiful.

Now, there are more pandas. They are not endangered any more.

Difficult words: were (past of “are”), endangered (in danger because there are not enough of them), any more (when something stops happening).
