OpenAI just launched a new version of its AI chatbot called GPT-4o.

This version will be available to everyone who uses ChatGPT, even those who don’t pay. It is faster and can sound more conversational and sometimes even playful. GPT-4o can also look at and talk about pictures, translate languages, and understand emotions from faces. The new chatbot can talk back to you and help with things like preparing for presentations and solving math problems.

This is a big step in the competition for AI technology, and OpenAI is the leader now. Other big tech companies like Google, Microsoft, and Apple will probably come with similar news soon.
