iPhone sales go down – level 2
07-05-2024 15:00
Apple boss Tim Cook talked about worries about the company’s future.
Last year, Apple’s sales went down by 4% to 90.8 billion dollars. This happened mainly because fewer people wanted to buy iPhones. Leaders said that COVID-19 caused these problems. They think that sales will increase soon because of new products and AI.
Although there are problems like more competition and fewer sales in China, Apple believes that things will get better again. People are happy about Apple’s plans, like new products and improvements in AI, which are very important for its future.
Difficult words: sale (selling services and things), competition (a person or company who wants to be better than the others), improvement (making things better).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
What do leaders at Apple believe will happen to the company's sales in the future, and why do they believe this?
