The movie “Parasite” is from South Korea. It is in Korean. People like it a lot. It gets nominations for awards at the Oscars. It is the first South Korean movie to get nominations.

It wins an Oscar for the best movie on Sunday. It is the first movie that is not in English to win this award. It also wins awards at other movie organizations.

The director says that “Parasite” continues the story of other Korean movies. The movie is about a poor family who wants to be rich.

Difficult words: parasite (a small animal, a plant, or a person who lives off another living thing), nomination (when people choose you to possibly win an award), Oscar (an awards show for movies and the name of the award).
