LGBTQ TV Characters – level 2

The GLAAD agency issued its annual report which says that 10% of all series characters on TV are LGTBQ, and the number was never higher in the past.

The report says that most characters are gay men, which does not reflex the real world. The agency recommends that by 2025, there are 20% of all series characters as LGBTQ.

GLAAD’s official said that TV series must show viewers’ lives and thecultures. In the time when people have more possibilities for entertainment, it is necessary that the TV series are attractive for viewers.

Difficult words: LGBTQ (a term which we use for people with other than heterosexual or straight orientation), reflect (to show), entertainment (films, TV, and other activities that people do for fun).
