Lil Tay, a teenage rapper and internet personality, was reported to have died in an Instagram statement, causing shock and confusion.
Her father and former manager didn’t confirm or deny her death. However, TMZ, an American celebrity news website, later reported that Lil Tay was alive and her Instagram had been hacked. She clarified that she and her brother were safe but heartbroken. Lil Tay’s real name is Tay Tian, not Claire Hope. In the past, she gained fame for her brash online persona, posting videos with money and luxury items. Her account had been inactive for a while and later resurfaced with allegations of abuse and disputes involving her family and manager.
