Many people do not like dating apps on their phones anymore. They want to meet new people in a pub.

In London, there is a new game called Date My Mate. A friend speaks to a big group of people. They show pictures and tell stories about their single friend. It is like a small school lesson, but for love. Many people go to these events because they are fun. They laugh and drink wine with their friends.

There is a problem with some dating apps. People are sad when they use them. Meeting in a pub is a better way to find a friend or a partner. It is a very happy night for everyone.

Difficult words: dating app (a program on a phone where people meet new people and try to find a boyfriend or girlfriend), single (a person who is not married and does not have a partner), laugh (the sound you make when something is very funny).
