Mbappé has problems at Real Madrid – level 2

13-05-2026 07:00

Real Madrid fans are angry with their star player, Kylian Mbappé. An online petition to get rid of him has millions of signatures. Even though Mbappé is a great player and scores many goals, fans blame him for the team’s poor season.

Real Madrid is far behind Barcelona in the league and even lost in the Champions League. The fans were angry when Mbappé went on a romantic holiday while he was recovering from an injury. They think that he cares more about himself and the World Cup than the club.

Some experts also say that he doesn’t work hard enough when the team doesn’t have the ball. If a strict new manager like José Mourinho joins the team, Mbappé might have even more problems because of his personality.

Difficult words: get rid (to make someone leave or to throw something away because you don’t want it), signature (your name on a document to show that you agree), blame (to say that someone is responsible for something bad that happened).

You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.

How did fans interpret Mbappé’s decision to take a romantic holiday while recovering from an injury?
