The ‘Thomas the Tank Engine’ show has big changes this year.

The producer said that the stories have been around for 73 years, so to launch the new show, there will be a new theme song, international characters, and stories set around the world and in Sodor. Original characters, new characters, and the first female controller of the trains will be in the show. People started to make new toys for the show, and people sell one around the world every minute!

Difficult words: launch (start), Sodor (a made-up place in the ‘Thomas the Tank Engine’ stories), controller (the person who tells the trains where to go).
