News from ABBA – level 2
01-05-2018 07:00
ABBA was a Swedish pop group. It produced worldwide hits in the 1970s such as ‘Waterloo’ and ‘Dancing Queen’.
ABBA split up in 1982, but it announced plans to come together for a virtual tour. The band members will not perform in person, but they will be projected as holograms.
They recorded two new songs, one of which is called ‘I Still Have Faith in You’. You can watch the holograms in a December TV special.
Difficult words: split up (end as one group), announce (say to people), hologram (a 3D image created by lasers).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
