North Korea Missile – level 2
16-10-2019 15:00
Last Thursday, some members of the EU complained about North Korea’s recent ballistic missile and other weapon tests.
Earlier this week, some of the countries of the UN Security Council requested that North Korea abandon all its weapons in a provable way. A spokesman of North Korea’s Foreign Ministry said that the other countries did not condemn the US for their October 2nd missile launch. The spokesman believes that the Trump Administration is influencing the other members.
The spokesman suggested that North Korea can change its plans and use nuclear weapons again.
North Korea said that recent talks with the US stopped. They were talking about nuclear weapons removal but the US made no negotiation proposals.
Difficult words: ballistic missile (a guided missile), condemn (disapprove of something), negotiation proposal (an idea to negotiate or discuss something so two groups of people feel happy).
