Our planet is experiencing a powerful magnetic storm, the most powerful in over 20 years.

The sky all over the northern hemisphere has rare and beautiful colors, which we don’t usually see so far from the poles. This event is happening because sunspots come together and they make a strong solar flare. Gas bubbles from the Sun are making a special show in the sky. Even though not everyone can see it, some people might get another chance to see the pretty lights in the sky. But the storm may not be so strong therefore, the colors may be less bright.

In our modern time, we use a lot of technology, which we depend on a lot. Experts worry that these storms may affect our technologies and cause disruptions. They may cause problems with power and communication.
