Doctors in Belgium are helping more people with nose problems. These people use cocaine.

These people are often between 40 and 50 years old. They are managers, teachers, or bankers. Cocaine narrows blood vessels in the nose. This hurts the nose. There can be holes.

Some people may need surgery to fix their noses. But they must stop using cocaine for six months before the surgery. That is why not many people can have surgery. It is hard for them to stop using cocaine.

Difficult words: cocaine (a drug from a dry coca plant), narrow (to make or become less wide), vessel (a tube through which blood travels in the body).
