Oldest Message in a Bottle – level 1

This news is from Australia. A woman picks up rubbish on a beach. She finds a bottle. There is a message inside it.

The bottle is very old. It is from Germany in 1886. The message is from a German captain.

Her find is the oldest message in a bottle in the world! You can see it in the Western Australia Museum.

Difficult words: rubbish (things that people throw away), find noun (something special which people find).
