Pakistan Plane Crash – level 2
27-05-2020 15:00
On Friday, a plane crashed near the Karachi airport in Pakistan. Some people said that they saw how the plane tried to land at the airport two or three times.
However, it crashed into nearby houses. The crash destroyed five houses and damaged 15 others. Several people ended up in hospital.
There were 107 people on board, and only two people survived the crash. They are in hospital because they were burned. However, their conditions are not serious, and they were able to say what happened on the plane before the crash.
Before the crash, the pilot spoke with the air traffic controller, and he said that he had problems with both engines. Now, officials must find out why the plane did not land at the airport.
Difficult words: survive (to stay alive after an accident happens), condition (the physical situation), air traffic controller (the person who controls air traffic).
