This news is from a town in Canada. Something unusual happens there. The tap water turns pink. People are shocked. They have no information about this. They do not know if the water is safe.
Later, the people find out what happened. A chemical makes the water pink. The chemical is not dangerous. It is used for cleaning.
Difficult words: unusual (not normal), tap water (the water which comes out of the wall in the kitchen and bathroom), chemical (a thing which people make).
