Protest in Nigeria – level 1
12-05-2014 07:00
Islamists enter a school. It is an all-girl school. The school is in Nigeria.
The Islamists take the girls. The girls don’t want to go. They kidnap the girls. They move the girls to a remote area. We don’t know where they are.
People want the girls back. They want the government to help. People think that the government is not doing enough. People protest. They want their government to find the girls.
Difficult words: kidnap (to take somebody who does not want to go), remote (far away), government (bosses of the country).
You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.
Have you ever protested?
