Russian soldiers at Ukrainian nuclear plant – level 1

Russian soldiers come to the Chernobyl nuclear plant in Ukraine. This happens in February. It is during the war in Ukraine.
A dangerous area is at Chernobyl. Nobody can go there. It is too dangerous. Radiation is there from an accident.
Russian soldiers go to the area. They risk their health. They risk another accident, too.
Officials watch the situation. They worry a lot. Workers at the plant work hard to make the area more safe. The plant is without power for some time.
Russia fights in other parts of Ukraine. Now, Russian soldiers leave Chernobyl. They still stay at another nuclear plant in southern Ukraine.
Difficult words: nuclear plant (a plant which makes energy from the smallest things called atoms), radiation (a type of power which we can’t see and is dangerous), risk (to possibly get hurt).
