Russian soldiers leave the Ukraine border

Russian soldiers move close to the border with Ukraine a few weeks ago. Russia moves its tanks, ships, and planes there, too.

Ukraine and Western countries worry that Russia wants to attack Ukraine. Crimea is a part of Ukraine. Russia attacks Crimea in 2014.

The situation is serious again. Ukraine does not want Russian soldiers near its border. Russia does nothing. Russia says that Russian soldiers have a training there.

Last week, Russia says that the soldiers will leave. 100,000 soldiers start to leave. Tanks stay there. Russia says that another training will be in autumn. Ukraine and western countries are afraid that the situation will get worse again.

Difficult words: soldier (a person who fights in a war), border (a line between two countries), tank (a big and very heavy vehicle which people use in a war).
