Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was in charge of handling guns during the making of the movie ‘Rust’. Sadly, actor Alec Baldwin accidentally shot and killed a cinematographer in March 2021.

The judge found Gutierrez-Reed guilty of involuntary manslaughter because she loaded a real bullet into the gun that Baldwin used. The judge said that Gutierrez-Reed was responsible for making sure the gun was safe but failed. It ended in a tragic accident.

This sentence is the most serious consequence so far. The case caught the attention of Hollywood and the US.
