Saving Baby Whale – level 2
22-10-2018 15:00
A whale calf was caught in shark nets off Australia’s Gold Coast, and rescuers arrived at the scene to get to work. It took them 45 minutes to free the whale. The mother swam around as they worked.
The little whale had only superficial wounds, and later people saw it swimming away with its mother.
Difficult words: calf (a young whale), scene (the place where there something happens, such as a problem), superficial wounds (cut which are not deep).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
