Nuclear fusion happens in every star. It gives the star energy. Nuclear fusion means that two atoms come together. They make one heavy atom. This one atom makes a lot of energy.
Scientists try to make nuclear fusion for a long time. The research takes many years. The correct technology is hard to have.
Last week, American scientists make nuclear fusion for the first time. They use 192 lasers for it. They make more energy than the fusion needs. Some people say that the event is the most important moment of the 21st century.
Nuclear fusion can make enough energy for all people. It will be clean energy. Still, the work will take many years before companies can use nuclear fusion.
Difficult words: atom (the smallest part of anything), research (detailed study of something), technology (machines, equipment, and information which people use for a specific purpose).
