Selfie Damages Art – level 3

In Russia, a woman was taking a selfie at an art show and leaned against a wall display, which then fell over onto two paintings by artists Salvador Dali and Francisco Goya. The paintings were valuable and the fall badly damaged them.
Difficult words: wall display (a light wall that people can hang art on to make exhibits within a museum or an art show), Salvador Dali (an important Spanish painter from the 1900s who painted in the surrealist style – a style focused on showing what is inside the mind and in dreams), Francisco Goya (an important Spanish painter from the 1700s to the 1800s who painted in the Romantic style – a style focused on nature, beauty and imagination), valuable (culturally important and worth a lot of money).
