In Missouri, USA, a boy climbs a tree. Suddenly, insects attack him. He falls onto a meat skewer. The skewer goes into his head. It passes by important arteries in his brain.

Doctors at the University of Kansas take out the skewer. About 100 doctors help the boy.  The doctors say that his survival is amazing.

Difficult words: skewer (a long piece of metal), artery (a big tube that moves in blood in the body), survival (when someone stays alive).
