Many tourists visit Africa. They like the white sandy beaches with palm trees. They travel on safaris. A safari is when you watch wild animals.

Also, some people go skiing in Africa. Most people like skiing in the Alps. Five mountain ranges in Africa have enough snow for skiing.

Lesotho, in southern Africa, is one of the places. People ski and snowboard under a bright sun. It is a very unusual experience. Around 17,000 people come here every year.

Last year is very hard. The coronavirus happens. People cannot travel to Africa. The resort in Lesotho is empty. Normally many people come. About a half of people come this year.

Difficult words: mountain range (a line of mountains), experience (something that happens to a person), resort (a place to go on vacation and do fun things).
