The Eden Project is having problems – level 1
20-03-2026 15:00
The Eden Project is a very big garden in England. It has a large rainforest inside big glass balls. Many people visit this place to see the green trees. Children go there with their schools. They learn about nature there. It is a beautiful and happy place.
But the garden has a problem now. Many people do not visit the place today. The company does not have much money. Some people lose their jobs. There is not enough money for them. It is hard to keep the garden open.
The boss of the project is still happy. He wants to help young people dream big. He wants to save the trees and the glass balls. He hopes that many people will come back to visit soon.
Difficult words: rainforest (a forest in a hot part of the world where it rains a lot), nature (all the things in the world like plants, animals, mountains, and rivers), project (some work or activity which people do over a period of time).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
What challenges does the Eden Project face now that fewer people visit?
