This bus goes nowhere – level 2
05-05-2026 07:00
Swiss twin brothers came up with a very special bus in the city of Baden. The project is called Line Zero.
For three weeks, people can ride this bus for free. But the bus doesn’t have a plan or a destination. It just drives around so that people can talk to each other. The artists who made it want to help people connect and make new friends while they travel. On a normal bus, people are usually quiet and look at their phones. On this bus, the real destination is social interaction.
The brothers say that this experiment makes people feel more alive. It helps them notice the world and the people around them. Many people like this idea. It shows that a bus can be more than just transport; it can be a place for a community to grow.
Difficult words: destination (the place where someone is going), interaction (when two or more people talk or spend time together), notice (to see, hear, or feel something that is happening).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
What do the artists aim to achieve by offering free rides on a bus that has no fixed route or destination?
