Tornado in the USA – level 3
11-03-2019 07:00
Alabama is a state in the south-eastern USA, and a tornado roared into there and killed at least 23 people and injured several others on last Sunday, March 3rd.
The National Weather Service said that the tornado had an F3 rating, meaning that it inflicted severe damage (F0 tornadoes cause light damage and F5 tornadoes cause the most damage). Emergency services are trying to help people as much as they can, and President Trump told people to be ‘careful and safe’.
Difficult words: roar (move with a lot of power), inflict (cause, do), severe (very bad).
