Tunnel in a KFC – level 2

Police discovered a drug-smuggling tunnel between the USA and Mexico. It leads from a house in Mexico to an abandoned KFC restaurant in the USA.

Police say that criminals smuggled large amounts of hard drugs across the border. Police arrested the restaurant’s owner, but they want to find everybody who had something to do with the business. Building the tunnel is in itself a crime.

Difficult words: discover (find), smuggle (illegally move something to another country), abandoned (no longer used).
