Ukraine Travel Is Visa-Free – level 2

Ukraine joined the European Union’s visa-free travel program. Now Ukrainians can visit all countries within the European Union for up to 90 days. However, this does not include the UK and Ireland. Ukrainians do not have the right to work in those countries, either.

To celebrate, the presidents of Ukraine and Slovakia shared a symbolic moment when they opened a door that looked like a passport. The Ukrainian president said that the country needed to be in the European Union after all of the progress that it made. People say that 30% more people are going to travel to Europe because of the program.

Difficult words: visa (a document that you sometimes need to travel to other countries), either (too in negative sentences), progress (good things that help the country).
