Ukraine wants more help

Volodymyr Zelenskiy is the president of Ukraine. He wants the West to stop Putin. He wants stricter rules for Russia. He also needs help for his country.

Zelenskiy is worried. Western countries are not sure about helping. He says that Putin’s plans are bigger than just Ukraine. Putin will never stop if the West does not stop him. Zelenskiy wants to win. He thinks that the West must have rules on Russia’s nuclear stuff.

EU and NATO leaders want to help Ukraine a lot. But the United States stop their help. The US government is talking about more help. But some politicians do not want it. Zelenskiy says that everyone should be together against Russia.

Difficult words: strict (when a rule is strict, you must do it), nuclear (related to breaking small things called atoms), politician (a person whose job is to make rules of a country).
