World’s cutest rescue dog – level 3

31-10-2024 15:00

Margot, a pit bull and an American bulldog mix, was found abandoned in a Walmart parking lot.

Julia Zupan, who volunteered at a local animal shelter, saw a Facebook post about Margot and felt an immediate connection, leading her to bring Margot home for a day visit.

That day, they started a special bond, and Julia soon adopted her. Margot, known for being both playful and affectionate, recently gained fame by winning the title of World’s Cutest Rescue Dog from a competition with 7,000 entries. Julia had entered Margot in the contest without expecting this outcome, but thanks to both fan votes and a judges’ panel, Margot was crowned number one.

Along with the title, Julia was awarded 1,000 dollars and a year’s supply of dog food, both of which she donated to the same shelter where she found Margot. To celebrate, Julia took Margot to a sniff spot, where Margot enjoyed exploring the backyard.

Difficult words: abandon (to leave alone), affectionate (showing love).
