Israel is attacked by Iran – level 1

On Tuesday, Iran attacks Israel. People can hear loud sirens. Sirens warn people that something dangerous can happen. People have to stay in safe places.
Before this, rockets come from Lebanon. So Israel starts fighting back on the ground in southern Lebanon. Israel attacks villages in Lebanon. People have to leave. A group called Hezbollah in Lebanon shoots more rockets at Israel.
The fighting is getting worse. People are worried a bigger war could start. Israel and the United States say that if Iran attacks Israel, they will respond to the attack.
Difficult words: warn (to say that something bad may happen), village (a group of houses and buildings which is smaller than a town), respond (to answer).
