William Buckland is a British scientist. He lives in the 19th century. He has strange dinners with unusual food, like a mouse on toast.
Buckland wants to eat every animal on Earth. He is smart. He studies rocks and fossils. He studies at Oxford University. He finds the big bones of the Megalosaurus. He helps us understand dinosaurs much better. His wife Mary helps him. She likes science, too. They have fun together.
Buckland does not eat all the animals which he wants. But he shows that science is fun.
