Many pregnant women die. Some have problems during pregnancy. Some die when they give birth.

In Africa, a pregnant woman dies every two minutes. It happens mainly in places like Kenya. Many people there live far from hospitals. They cannot get the right help. But now, there is a new device. It shows pictures of babies inside their moms. It is easy to use it. Even people who are not experts can do it. It can find problems early and save lives.

Experts are still testing the device. But many people believe that it can make a big difference for women in Kenya.

Difficult words: pregnant (a woman who has a baby inside her belly), pregnancy (the time when a woman has a baby inside her belly), device (a small machine which people use for a specific activity or work).
