Apple has a new boss – level 2

27-04-2026 07:00

Tim Cook is leaving his job as the boss of Apple after fifteen years. He helped the company become very rich and successful. Now, a man named John Ternus will take his place.

Ternus knows a lot about how to design and build phones and computers. He worked at Apple for a long time, and people trust his skills. But Cook will not leave the company completely. He will still help with the government and business in China. This is a very important job that he does well. The new boss has many big tasks to finish. Many people want to see a new and exciting product from Apple soon, but the company has some problems to solve now. Other companies are better at AI. Ternus must work hard to change it. He also needs to keep the company strong even when the world has many political problems. The future of Apple depends on these new ideas.

Difficult words: skill (when you can do something well because you learned and did it before), completely (totally), exciting (something what makes you very happy and interested).

You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.

What are the key challenges John Ternus must tackle to strengthen Apple’s position in AI and navigate global political issues?
