Attack on Maduro – level 2

In Caracas, the Venezuelan capital, there was a parade. President Nicolas Maduro was there and gave a speech.

As he was talking, a drone loaded with explosives flew towards him and exploded. Someone filmed the moment on live TV. Security reacted quickly and tried to protect the president, but Maduro did not look very shocked.

People are debating who carried out the attack.

Difficult words: parade (a celebration when people walk slowly in the streets), drone (a small plane which people control from far away), debate (argue about).
