20-03-2025 07:00
Brisbane may lose the tennis matches for the 2032 Olympic Games if it does not improve its courts.
Tennis Queensland wants 113 million dollars to build a bigger arena and more courts. The current place is not big enough. If the government does not give money, the tennis matches may take place in Melbourne. Tennis Queensland says there is not enough space or seating in Brisbane.
The government will decide what to do by March 25. Some people in Melbourne say that their city has better courts. Melbourne could hold the tennis matches. The government in Queensland wants to make sure the state will get good things from hosting the Games.
Difficult words: improve (to make something better), arena (a large place for sports events), host (to hold an event).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
