China’s economy grows a lot in 2024. Chinese companies start making green things like electric cars, batteries, and solar panels.

But other countries worry. They need China and its products. They depend on China too much. But they think that China helps its companies too much. It means that Chinese products are very cheap. It hurts businesses in other places. China is very good at producing green products. It is changing the world. The West is angry at China.

It is changing the lives of people in China too. Many older workers lose their jobs. Companies make different products. They hire young workers.

Difficult words: green (friendly to nature), hurt (to have a bad impact on), hire (to take on a person to work in a company).
