China makes cheap green products – level 2

In 2024, China’s economy grew by 5.3% which was more than anyone expected. The main reason is that China focused on making green products like electric cars, batteries, and solar panels.
Other countries worry about relying too much on these items from China. They say that China supports its companies too much, which makes their products too cheap and hurts other businesses. This tension between China and other countries could cause problems. China’s success in green technology is changing the world, but it also brings challenges for everyone to work together fairly. Also, these changes mean that some people in China lost their jobs and can’t find new ones.
