Sir David Attenborough is 100 years old! It is his birthday today! He is a famous man who loves animals and nature. For many years, he makes beautiful TV shows about the world.
Now, the BBC is celebrating his birthday with special programs. One program shows how he films wild animals in far countries a long time ago. He even meets big gorillas! Another new show is about gardens. David shows us that many animals live very close to our houses. He says that we can help nature if we care for our gardens.
On his birthday, there will be a big party in London with music and films. People from all over the world love David. He teaches us to be kind to our planet. He does so much for nature.
Difficult words: birthday (the day on which a person is born), nature (all the animals, plants, rocks, and weather on Earth), wild (an animal or plant which lives in nature).
