A fight happens in a prison in Honduras. It is a prison for women.
41 people die in the fight. The government says that gangs cause the fight. They are angry because the government wants to stop corruption in prisons. Most of the people who die are burned or shot.
Officials want to find out who the dead people are. The president says that she will do strong things. She changes the boss of the police. The fight happens because the government wants to stop corruption in prisons. They look for bad things in prisons to stop powerful gangs and bad guards. People who have family in the prison want to know what happened to them.
The government will do more things to stop crime and make the prisons safe.
Difficult words: corruption (when people in power do something dishonest), shot (when someone dies or is hurt because another person shoots him), gang (an organized group of people who do bad things).
