Hotel Collapse – level 2
18-10-2019 15:00
In New Orleans, Louisiana, a hotel was under construction when a big section of it fell to the ground and injured 18 people. Two people died and one went missing at the site. People evacuated buildings near the hotel as it was unsafe.
A fire official said that firefighters were looking for the missing person. Rescue workers are also going to look for the person before they look for the people who died.
The Louisiana governor said that the situation is changing quickly, and it is dangerous because things continue to fall from the hotel.
Difficult words: section (a big part of a bigger thing), site (a specific place), evacuate (leave a place because of danger near there).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
