Macron visits Notre-Dame Cathedral – level 2

In 2019, a fire destroyed one of France’s biggest landmarks, Notre Dame Cathedral. President Emmanuel Macron said restoring Notre Dame will bring hope to the world.
Macron visited the building with his wife, the Paris archbishop, and the main architect, Philippe Villeneuve. It took five years to rebuild the cathedral, and Macron praised the hard work of everyone who was part of the works.
The restoration used old and new ways to fix the famous building while keeping its history. Notre Dame will soon reopen and show the amazing effort of everyone who worked on it.
