Mountain Lion in LA – level 3
04-04-2018 15:00
Someone filmed a mountain lion roaming the backyards of a Los Angeles city neighbourhood. Police warned residents to stay inside, and in one instant, you can see the cat pawing at someone’s front door.
The incident concluded as wildlife officers tranquillised the big cat, loaded it onto a pick-up truck, and removed it from the area.
Difficult words: roam (move about), resident (a person who resides – lives somewhere), paw verb (scrape with a paw – an animal’s foot), conclude (end), tranquillise (shoot with a tranquilliser gun – a gun which shoots a drug that makes the animal sleep).
