An earthquake happens in New Jersey. Buildings in New York City move too.

Earthquakes are not usual on the east coast of the United States. The earthquake happens around 10:20 in the morning. Nothing serious happens. Nobody is hurt. No buildings fall. People at a UN meeting feel the ground move. They stop the meeting for a short time. Some people in New York say they feel the ground move for about 15 to 20 seconds.

Earthquakes are not usual in New York. But they happen here before. People are interested in the event but it is not a big problem for anyone.
