Oktoberfest 2016 – level 2

Oktoberfest is a beer festival in Munich, Germany. It brings six million tourists to the city every year. There is an increased security presence this year. People check visitors’ bags.
The festival lasts two weeks. Many people wear traditional Bavarian outfits. The dresses are called dirndls and the long shorts are called lederhosen.
People drink beer from steins which are big beer mugs. Each stein holds a litre of beer. Last year at the festival, people served 7.3 million litres of beer.
Difficult words: increased (higher, greater), presence (being present – being somewhere), last (exist).
