Plan to Kill – level 2
09-03-2020 07:00
Police in California arrested a man who threatened to shoot people at the company UPS. The man worked for UPS, and he sent messages to his employer. In the messages, he wrote about what he wanted to do.
Police caught the man after a car chase, and they searched the man’s home. They found a lot of ammunition and many guns.
The arrested man is 32 years old, and he already holds police records. In the past, he drove a car while he was drunk, police investigated him for criminal threats, and he also broke a gun law.
Difficult words: car chase (when one car, usually a police car, wants to catch another car that goes very fast), ammunition (objects that a gun shoots), criminal threat (when a person says they are going to hurt somebody), hold police records (when the police have records about bad things a person does).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
