Authorities in California say that an employee of the company UPS is in custody. Police arrested the man because he threatened to carry out a mass shooting at a UPS facility.
Reports say that the suspect, a 32-year-old man, sent threatening texts to his employer on Sunday. The suspect was later caught after a car chase.
Police found more than 20,000 rounds of ammunition, five rifles, and various other guns in the suspect’s home.
Authorities say that the suspect was known to police for criminal threats, driving under the influence, and several cases of weapons violations.
Difficult words: rounds of ammunition (bullets that are used for shooting from a weapon), drive under the influence (to drive while drunk), weapon violation (when somebody breaks the law that controls weapons).
