Silvio Berlusconi is a very rich and powerful media boss. He is the Italian leader in the past. Berlusconi dies on Monday. He is 86 years old.

Berlusconi has leukemia and a lung infection. He dies at a hospital in Milan. His family is with him. Italy will have a day of mourning. A ceremony will be at Milan Cathedral. Nobody knows what will happen with Berlusconi’s political party. But Italy’s leader Giorgia Meloni may get stronger. We don’t know who will take over Berlusconi’s companies. Berlusconi doesn’t say it. His oldest daughter Marina may be important.

Berlusconi does many unusual things in his life. Some are good and some are not so good. People often fight about them.

Difficult words: leukemia (a cancer of the blood), mourning (feeling sad when someone dies), political party (a group of people with similar political ideas).
